Diabetic ulcer now closed by sutures
I am having a diabetic patient that focus of care is change dressings every other day, wound is located on big toe, Progress notes does not document the surgical procedure by Podiatrist, but he has sutures on right big toe. How do I code this "wound" ? Manual said the presence of sutures does not mean is always a surgical wound, but I am still very confused. Thank you
