"Tunneling"
What is the protocol for coding two pressure ulcers connected by "tunneling"?? If they're "connected" in this manner, does this mean you only code it as ONE pressure ulcer? (i.e. it started in the buttock as a stage III, then "tunneled" to the sacral region)
