Fracture code with complicated surg wound

Just inquiring on this, as Im not used to running into it. We have a patient who had a fracture, had pins/rods placed over 30 days ago. Homecare is ordered for wound care to the non healing surgical wound d/t this surgery. I know we cant code a complication with an aftercare code but can we do it with a fracture code, meaning code the non healing surgical wound along with the fracture code? I think we can but just wanted someone to confirm if possible.
