I have a patient admitted to HH for wound care, PT, OT...pt has left femur chronic osteomyelitis and open wound infection (s/p re-do aka 9/9/16) do I code this as a complication or as an AKA where it was a re-do as they called it...

    I'm thinking that the "redo" was done d/t the osteomyelitis and therefore
    to me it sounds like a complication
