Abandon the completion of a femorofemoral bypass

Any ideas how to code this?
Physician did not proceed due to extensive calcifications. Would this still be considered aftercare Z48.812 or would there be another code to capture this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    I would think this is still aftercare CV, and the process that should have been resolved with the bypass would still be present as well.

    But did the surgeon document the surgery failed?
    Your statement is that the surgery was not completed/abandonded, not that the procedure he performed failed. Just food for thought...
