Hi, I have a chart that says vascular dementia with cerebrovascular changes. Would you code that i672 followed by f0150? I'm not sure by saying "changes" that I am able to do that. Thanks!
Yes. If you have the DecisionHealth coding book there is a coding tip under I69.3- on page 991.

If related to cerebral infarction in homecare or hospice use code I69.3. If not a stroke ask the MD for the condition of vascular dementia coding from I65-I67.
