Is it appropriate to code personal hx z85.118 and current lung cancer at the same time? Patient had LLL removed, but still has cancer of RLL.

    I would. The homecare coding study guide has a list of certain comorbidities that should always be coded, that includes history of neoplasm if there is a current neoplasm. You can also code absence of lung for the lobectomy.
