MS with spastic paraparesis

Question:
Patient referral info has MD documentation of MS, but also spastic paraparesis is documented by MD. Can these be coded together? Or is the Paraparesis and integral part of the MS, therefore not needed?

    Just because one has MS does not mean one has paraparesis. If HH is addressing the paraparesis, then code it first with the MS as secondary.
