I'm looking for a cms q&a from ? A couple of years ago where cms indicated it was ok to use a wait time date as the soc date. For example, if a referral is called in today and the referrer/md is told there is a 5 day wait, day 5 can be used as the md ordered soc date. Thanks for your help. Barb

    This is not quite what I'm looking for. We know upfront that there is a wait. So if I take a referral today and say to md that we can admit in 5 days, can I use August 15 as an md ordered soc date.
