MD F2F mentioned that the diabetic foot ulcer located at the base (plantar surface) or the R great toe started as a second degree burn. Since MD labeled the wound "diabetic foot ulcer" should it be coded as a diabetic foot ulcer or as second degree burn followed by DM II? Thank you
