M1340 & M1342 Surgical wound
Our orthopedic surgeons have been putting on a non-removable dressing for surgical patient's. This requires the admitting clinician to select response 2 " surgical wound known, but observable due to a non-removable dressing" for 1340 at the SOC. They then skip 1342 due to skip logic.
The problem we are having is on the discharge. We are showing a decline on 1342. I am wondering if anyone else is having this problem & if there is a solution.
