PVD, venous insufficiency with leg ulcers
Would you code PVD and then the ulcers, PVD, venous insufficiency and then the ulcers, or venous insufficiency, ulcers, and then PVD? The primary diagnosis the nurse documented is the leg ulcer. This is a question I have since I872 is now in the wound bucket and if I put it as the primary dx the reimbursement will be higher.
