Discharge Oasis question
My agency scheduled a discharge on a client, and the cert period was wrong on the schedulers calendar. The end result was that the nurse went out on the first day of the next cert and did a discharge visit and completed the discharge oasis, instead of the last day of the cert that needed discharged. My question is, do we need to inactivate that DC oasis, do a Recert Oasis, and then do the DC oasis within the 2 day time frame to use that assessment to answer the DC oasis questions? This would also require us generating a new POC out of our system, that would need to be sent to MD for signature since a visit was made in the new cert?
