question for edema vs weeping edema-
Discussion for use of edema please assist
in the 2016 Decision Health coding book, dx code L98.8 had coding tips for use - could be used for weeping edema and edema from blisters.
The 2017 and the 2018 book does not have this coding tip- does this mean it can no longer be used for weeping edema or edema from blisters? Or can we still use it, even without he coding tips? Or should R23.8 be used? I do not remember any other guidance-

R23.8 is the correct code and the coding tip is included under that code.
