complicated wound
Pt. had traumatic compartment syndrome of his leg, treated with a fasciotomy that dehiscence so do I just code the T79.A29A (as hospital has documented)then the dehiscence or dehiscence then TCS . Wound care is the focus. The TCS was due to surgery that they took a vein from left leg , So do I also need another code for the trauma? I would think I should use the TCS code for the left lower extremity T79.A22A TY in advance. Beth Muhaw RN
