aftercare neoplasm

A neoplasm is not always malignant, so if a pt is admitted for aftercare following surgery to remove a neoplasm, and in this case the neoplasm was unspecified, but the coding manual states to add a code for personal history of that neoplasm and the choices are malignant or benign history, should hx of disease of that particular body system be assigned?
