Traumatic compartment syndrome

Patient had traumatic compartment syndrome of his arm, treated with a fasciotomy and partial closure of the incision. We are doing wound care. Do I just code the compartment syndrome with a "D"?? He did have surgery but this was due to trauma so I can't use an aftercare code, or I am looking at this totally wrong?

    Correct there is no aftercare for trauma. But You code it with an A since there is active wound care.
