Just wondering what others do in this scenario. If, for example, the clinician was scheduled to do a recert on 2/17-the last day of the current cert-and there was a snowstorm, or something preventing you from seeing the patient. Would you do the recert late? Or discharge the chart and readmit the patient? I just read in the little brown OASIS Answers book that you can do the recert late (as a very last resort). Just curious what others think/do about this.
