DM foot wound
patient went in with a diabetic foot wound with osteomyelitis. Wound was "excised" per surgical report and 5th toe amputated. We are still seeing patient for IV therapy for osteomyelitis. Do I still code diabetic foot ulcer E11.621, L97.524 (with Bone necrosis) and OM M86.572? Wound has been debrided x2 and 2 skin grafts placed, but still has open, sloughy tissue present. And per Oasis is this a surgical wound now?
