infected traumatic hematoma

We have a pt who fell and developed a hematoma 6 months ago. She has had several I & d's and now has a wound vac due to the infected hematoma. Can I now code this as an open wound??

    I would think that this would be a surgical wound with complication in my opinion consider: T81.4XXA

    maybe you are talking about infected seroma? but it sees fell and developed hematoma.
