MS
We have a pt that we are seeing who has MS – nursing is going for seizures
(new dx) as well as wound care, hydration, neurogenic bladder, managing the
muscle spascity, PT/OT will be working with the pt regarding muscle
spascity, weakness, transfers. Since the pt has more than 2 aspects of MS
that we will be working with I was going to list the MS as primary. I was
NOT going to code the weakness and muscle spasms as I’m thinking they are
inherent to the dx. I WAS going to code the neurogenic bladder.
Does this sound appropriate?
