I realize this may be basic, but still feel the need to ask.
If you have a patient with a recent left TKR secondary to OA for which home health is ordered and has had a right TKR back in 2000.
When coding do you use Z47.1 and Z96.652 presence of left artificial joint with onset 11/xx/16 and Z96.651 onset 2000
or Z96.653 presence of bilateral artificial joints with exacerbation 11/xx/16
