Do we still code the obesity and bmi when we code for aftercare on a gastric bypass surgery?

    If documented as present at SOC, yes. If someone had GB years ago and is no longer obese, then no. In that case you would just answer in M1036 of OASIS, yes for Obesity.

    the m. ob and BMI was a pre- op diagnoses then got sent to homecare right after hospital stay.
