The Zcodes I thought were history of resistance. If it is current infection it would be the bug causing the infection not the fact that it is resistant to medication. Just thinking out loud without looking anything up

  • Maybe im reading it wrong...states "has been previously infected with MRSA, Pseudomonas (cipro resistant). Chronically on Bactrim to suppress staph since 2/16. No recent pseudomonas. Last exacerbation responded well to vancomycin."

The only thing I question is the Bactrim and staph is that apart of the cystic fibrosis?

Then I would just code the history of MRSA. And not worry about the history of the bugs.
