Paraplegia due to spinal neoplasm

If a patient is paralyzed due to spinal compression at T8-T9 resulting from a spinal tumor, would you code the tumor as an injury (using an S code) with sequela of paraplegia? I don't know how else to specify the paraplegia is a sequela of the tumor?

    I Agree with Lisa. Code the tumor and the paraplegia.....no injury.

    Thank you for your thoughts. I guess I was looking for somehow to show that the paraplegia is a result of the spinal compression due to the tumor (maybe by sequelae) but I too am not sure that "injury" is the correct way to go.
