I have a physician that insists I use anorexia as the terminal diagnosis. Since it is a symptom code, I have never used this code as terminal. Advice please.
Do you have the Decision Health Coding book? In the back there is a chapter that applies to Hospice. On page 1914 there are symptom codes that are used in one of the scenarios. This might help.
