Workers Comp.
we get a few of workers comp and every time they give us the "list of codes" that we must use ... they are always coded wrong. this past one i got had all icd 9 codes on the form and they were arguing with me that i had to use them.
does anyone know the rules with coding workers comp. Do we have to list the infection even if at SOC they do not have it anymore...just bc its listed on the form ? they used the wrong infection code .. am i allowed to even correct it to the proper way of coding ? or do i have to code wrong bc they did ?
